At times, people ask this question, so I thought it would be good to explain.

So our method consists in pairing a child (in vulnerable position) to a person willing to help (you), so that you can grow and develop a beautiful relationship together over time, and so that you can see the progress and the change you make.

We aim to establish a good communication between you and the child. You can have video calls once in a while and write letters. Pictures of everything we give to the child will be sent to you. They get very attached to us, so you should be 100% sure you want to do this.

Financially, children need 20-30 euros / month – includes a lot of food that lasts for a whole month. If you also want your child to attend school, a total amount of 50 euros / month is sufficient for both.

I encourage you to talk to any of our common friends beforehand and consolidate your trust, as we should start from a place of mutual understanding and not of doubt.

Remember, we are a charity, so please do not ask the child to do anything “in order to” deserve the support (such as, to condition your support by phone calls, or smiling, or learning well…). If you give, it is because you want to, and without expecting a benefit.

Funds can be easily sent via PayPal, bank transfer and even Revolut (if you have a bit of patience with this app which lately has become difficult) – I will be here to guide you, whatever you choose.
