Weekend and Monday Work

My mind has been very restless this weekend, so I could not relax and disconnect from work. My closest friends know: whenever I am like this, the best therapy for me is to continue working – and this is, sort-of, what I did.

We have an ongoing medical case, of a baby who is too thin, almost transparent, weighing only 3 kg at the age of 4 months; her name is Praise and I hope we will save her. She has received help from HOCT friends and also, she has been admitted to a hospital in Jinja during the weekend, from where we have received good reports. It is likely that her condition improves.

Over the course of today, we chased the Monday blues away by working much, with good energy. Food was ordered in the morning and we distributed it in the afternoon. Children came and borrowed books from the library, played with each other and shared weekend stories.

I am happy when I work. I am very grateful for my colleagues and their hard work.

My life with HOCT is complete.
