In Uganda, single motherhood has risen from 20 % to 30 % in recent years – those numbers are not a statistic, they are a daily reality of women who are, at the same time, a doctor, a teacher, a nurse, a cook, a provider and a protector, all at once, every single day, holding back their own tears just to keep their children strong, because they are the only pillar… standing

Three children. No partner. Every morning, this woman wakes up and makes it work. I don’t know how. I know that she does.
