We put all our energy into caring for children.
Day after day, without breaks, we distribute tons of food, quite literally.
It’s just another Tuesday. We accomplished our aims. You are loved.

It’s just another Tuesday. We accomplished our aims. You are loved.

What have you accomplished today?
We have worked hard, and we have loved much.

I love Wednesdays. It feels like I am in the very middle of things, surrounded by piles of hard work and plans that are about to be accomplished. Work is progressing well on all plans and we are growing steadily.
I love to look at my life in a similar way, and to see the fruit of all my efforts: children who have food, education and medical assistance; joyful efforts made by good people; generosity.
Life is beautiful.

It is a cold January day, but we worked with love and gratitude. Our beautiful children received food, wrote letters, spent time with us and read books from the library.
We registered new children in the program, and two more lives were saved.
We extend our deepest gratitude towards all HOCT friends and family!

Cold, cold, cold weather today, so we struggled to keep warm by working with vigor and good energy.
We are grateful and happy that our work goes on at a steady pace.
I am very grateful to my coworkers, Mugoya Swaliki for all the super-logistic work and distribution, and Mihaela Stoica for the beautiful media she does.
I am lucky to have the most beautiful children and the most perfect team!
Dear ones, another week of hard work has reached the end. We worked well and accomplished a lot today. We saved 5 more lives and I am glad and grateful that people trust HOCT and come to us in such great number.

Today, an elder of the village passed away, so our colleagues went to the funeral. Thus, our work was a bit delayed and not finished, I hope our friends will forgive us.
The children are well, they picked their food and they were all taken home safely.
May we all enjoy a peaceful evening ❤

May all children everywhere be well and happy, may they be protected from all harm.

Some people choose to save more than one life. I am so grateful to them, beyond any words. There are people who feed 3, 6 and even 20 children each month. How amazing is that.
Thank you!

My mind has been very restless this weekend, so I could not relax and disconnect from work. My closest friends know: whenever I am like this, the best therapy for me is to continue working – and this is, sort-of, what I did.
We have an ongoing medical case, of a baby who is too thin, almost transparent, weighing only 3 kg at the age of 4 months; her name is Praise and I hope we will save her. She has received help from HOCT friends and also, she has been admitted to a hospital in Jinja during the weekend, from where we have received good reports. It is likely that her condition improves.
Over the course of today, we chased the Monday blues away by working much, with good energy. Food was ordered in the morning and we distributed it in the afternoon. Children came and borrowed books from the library, played with each other and shared weekend stories.
I am happy when I work. I am very grateful for my colleagues and their hard work.
My life with HOCT is complete.
